Product description White dead-nettle Tincture
Latin name: Lamium AlbumThe white dead-nettle is considered a weed by many, but it's actually a herb like the stinging nettle. It looks very similar to the nettle, except that it has white flowers and doesn't sting. White dead-nettle isn't part of the nettle family either.
The leaves and flowers of this plant can be eaten as a vegetable, and the dried leaves can be used to make tea. Other common names for white dead-nettle include sugar nettle, sucking flowers, nettle herb, cock's-head, or soft nettle. It's called sugar nettle and sucking flower because children used to suck out the flowers.
White dead-nettle is a spring herb that is often used in spring cures.
